Golf and Yoga

Yoga is a great form of exercise to enhance your life and golf game. It provides flexibility, strength, improved breathing, injury healing and prevention, enhanced body awareness, joint mobility, and better organ function, including digestion. For thousands of years people in the East have been practicing yoga with the main focus on a spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical connection that enables a greater peace of mind as well as a more fulfilling sense of well being. Stress reduction is also a major benefit of yoga especially for those with high stress levels.  I have practiced yoga for ten years.  Through yoga I have healed many injuries and and felt the effects of more flexibility, less stress, more stamina, better sleep, all directly related to consistent yoga practice. The key to yoga is to be patient, start slow and build up to a comfortable level of practice daily. The time invested in practicing yoga will create personal gains in every area of your life.
